Kawartha Komets Shine in the Santa Claus Parade...Again

The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program participated in the 2017 Santa Claus Parade convened by the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough.  We had an excellent turnout of players, family members, staff and board members as we celebrated 150 Canadian Christmases...the theme for this year's parade.

Many thanks to Lisa Mills, our Special Events Co-ordinator, for lining up a great team of volunteers to decorate our floats, give out candy during parade and supervise our players as they participated.

Special thanks to our Co-ordinator of Coaching, Brian Brown, for the extra work he put into preparing his trailer for the parade and to the Head Coach of our Senior (Phoenix) team, Adam White, for also providing his vehicle and a trailer.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the parade.  There was an incredible turnout of parade watchers and the evening culminated with an amazing fireworks display!

A great evening for everyone involved.

  2. I would say that, this is best places for the children and families to spend a good time here. As i work for the CV writing service in Dubai so mostly I'm very busy in the whole week but when I get weekends off, I always travel somewhere cool and beautiful places to refresh my mind and it is really work.
