As the old saying goes, "Practice makes perfect." I've also heard another line lately. I've heard that our Intermediate/Senior team is undefeated this season. A perfect record. While that is true, it's more important that we are having a good time and teaching life lessons to our players. Like..."winning isn't everything" and "it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game."Enough philosophizing (sp?)...
Tomorrow (Saturday, December 18th) we have our final practice before Christmas. Actually it's the first practice we've had since October.
Both teams, Junior and Intermediate/Senior will meet at the Evinrude Centre at 10:15 a.m. We'll have some casual skate time, work on some skills and then divide into two teams and have a fun-filled scrimmage.
