"The Komets were blazing as the flags they were raising."
The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program was honoured to be asked again by the City of Peterborough to be the official flag bearers in the Canada Day Parade. The parade theme was BACK TOGETHER and it was great to be back together again with players and volunteers. Many thanks to all the Komets participants for your part in making this year's parade involvement a success. HAPPY CANADA DAY!

The Kawartha Komets in the parade can inspire aspiring young athletes, instilling a sense of pride and motivation within the community. By serving as role models, the team members can encourage youth participation in sports and emphasize the importance of teamwork, dedication, and community engagement.
ReplyDeleteWow, that’s amazing! It’s great to see the Kawartha Komets serving as the official flag bearers again—it really shows their commitment and pride in the community. Events like these bring everyone together and create lasting memories. By the way, while celebrating this news, I was also checking my tiger exchange id for some cricket updates, which keeps me connected to both sports and community happenings.
