Two Blind Goalies - One Incredible Game!

Recently the Kawartha Komets traveled to Ajax to take on the Durham Dragons.  All three Komets teams, the Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors enjoyed playing our closest competition geographically but it was the Junior game that really caught the attention of the fans and family members in attendance.

Both goaltenders were blind.  Click on this link to read the story published in the Peterborough Examiner.

The game was close and in was the Komets' goalie Robert McGregor's 2nd game of the season after missing the first game and practice due to work commitments.  Neither goalie was "rusty" though and it was one of the best hockey games we've witnessed in a long time.

BLAZE KOMETS, BLAZE.
