Komets Blazed the Alleys at Bowlerama

On Saturday, the Jack McGee Kawartha Komets, Peterborough's Special Needs Hockey Program exchanged skates for bowling shoes and had a great time at Bowlerama in Brookdale Plaza.

Seven teams of bowlers (6 per team) took advantage of some "spare" time and demonstrated how to rolll a "strike".

With a table full of prizes, every bowler was a winner in every sense of the word.

The bowlers and families enjoyed pizza, pop and homemade chocolate chip cookies and had a wonderful time.

After four weeks of road trips it was nice to engage in a different sport and enjoy the camaraderie that the Kawartha Komets are known for.

As they say, "a good time was had by all."
