Bethany General Store Welcomes the Komets

Will Hoehn
Bethany General Store very kindly let one of our Junior Kawartha Komets stand in front of their store to accept donations for our upcoming fundraising game.

Will Hoehn donned his Komets jersey and was not turned down by a single customer.  Some commented on how nice his jersey was.  One donor drove past the store, saw this handsome young boy collecting donations and returned with her contribution.  Many thanks to the owners of this busy establishment for being so kind to Will.

CONGRATULATIONS, Will!  Thanks for helping to raise money for a very worthy cause!

It's rewarding to see the initiative taken by some of our Jack McGee Kawartha Komets regarding our game against the Peterborough Petes on Sunday, January 27th at 1:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Admission is FREE.  We will honour the late Mike Mulvaney, a former board member with the Komets who did so much for sports in our community.

All proceeds from this "fun" game with our Peterborough Petes will go to the Five Counties Children's Centre.

If you didn't already check out the video of Andrew Avery in an earlier post, you must take a look!  Check it out here.

Blaze Komets, Blaze!
